ఆత్మీయ అభ్యాసములు:

సహోదరులు ఐక్యత కలిగి నివసించుట ఎంత మేలు! ఎంత మనోహరము!
అది తలమీద పోయబడి అహరోను గడ్డముమీదుగా కారి అతని అంగీల అంచువరకు దిగజారిన పరిమళ తైలమువలె నుండును
సీయోను కొండలమీదికి దిగి వచ్చు హెర్మోను మంచు వలె నుండును. ఆశీర్వాదమును శాశ్వత జీవమును అచ్చట నుండవలెనని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చి యున్నాడు. (:1-3)

Blessed Unity of the People of God (Notes from Psalm 133)

Godly practices:
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron,
running down on the edge of his garments.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing— life forevermore.

ప్రార్థన:
 యెహోవా, దావీదునకు కలిగిన బాధలన్నిటిని అతని పక్షమున జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుము.
అతడు యెహోవాతో ప్రమాణపూర్వకముగా మాట యిచ్చి
యాకోబుయొక్క బలిష్ఠునికి మ్రొక్కుబడిచేసెను.
ఎట్లనగా యెహోవాకు నేనొక స్థలము చూచువరకు యాకోబుయొక్క బలిష్ఠునికి ఒక నివాసస్థలము నేను చూచువరకు
నా వాసస్థానమైన గుడారములో నేను బ్రవేశింపను నేను పరుండు మంచముమీది కెక్కను నా కన్నులకు నిద్ర రానియ్యను నా కన్ను రెప్పలకు కునికిపాటు రానియ్యననెను. (:1-5)
యెహోవా, లెమ్ము నీ బలసూచకమైన మందసముతో కూడ రమ్ము నీ విశ్రాంతి స్థలములో ప్రవేశింపుము.
నీ యాజకులు నీతిని వస్త్రమువలె ధరించుకొందురుగాక నీ భక్తులు ఉత్సాహగానము చేయుదురు గాక.
నీ సేవకుడైన దావీదు నిమిత్తము నీ అభిషిక్తునికి విముఖుడవై యుండకుము. (:8-10)

ఆత్మీయ అభ్యాసములు:

ఆయన నివాసస్థలములకు పోదము రండి
ఆయన పాదపీఠము ఎదుట సాగిలపడుదము రండి. (:7)

దేవుని వాగ్ధానములు:
 నీ గర్భఫలమును నీ రాజ్యముమీద నేను నియ మింతును. నీ కుమారులు నా నిబంధనను గైకొనినయెడల నేను వారికి బోధించు నా శాసనమును వారు అనుస రించినయెడల వారి కుమారులుకూడ నీ సింహాసనముమీద నిత్యము కూర్చుందురని
యెహోవా సత్యప్రమాణము దావీదుతో చేసెను ఆయన మాట తప్పనివాడు.
యెహోవా సీయోనును ఏర్పరచుకొని యున్నాడు. తనకు నివాసస్థలముగా దానిని కోరుకొని యున్నాడు.
ఇది నేను కోరినస్థానము, ఇది నిత్యము నాకు విశ్రమ స్థానముగా నుండును ఇక్కడనే నేను నివసించెదను
దాని ఆహారమును నేను నిండారులుగా దీవించెదను దానిలోని బీదలను ఆహారముతో తృప్తిపరచెదను
దాని యాజకులకు రక్షణను వస్త్రముగా ధరింప జేసెదను దానిలోని భక్తులు బిగ్గరగా ఆనందగానము చేసెదరు.
అక్కడ దావీదునకు కొమ్ము మొలవ జేసెదను నా అభిషిక్తునికొరకు నే నచ్చట ఒక దీపము సిద్ధపరచి యున్నాను.
అతని శత్రువులకు అవమానమును వస్త్రముగా ధరింప జేసెదను అతని కిరీటము అతనిమీదనే యుండి తేజరిల్లును అనెను.  (:11-18)

The Eternal Dwelling of God in Zion (Notes from Psalm 132)

Prayer:
1 Lord, remember David
And all his afflictions;
2 How he swore to the Lord,
And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 “Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house,
Or go up to the comfort of my bed;
4 I will not give sleep to my eyes
Or slumber to my eyelids,
5 Until I find a place for the Lord,
A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”  (:1-5)
Arise, O Lord, to Your resting place,
You and the ark of Your strength.
9 Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness,
And let Your saints shout for joy.
10 For Your servant David’s sake,

Promises of God:
11 The Lord has sworn in truth to David;

He has desired it for His dwelling place:

యెహోవా, నా హృదయము అహంకారము గలది కాదు నా కన్నులు మీదు చూచునవి కావు
నాకు అందనివాటియందైనను గొప్పవాటియందైనను నేను అభ్యాసము చేసికొనుట లేదు.
నేను నా ప్రాణమును నిమ్మళ పరచుకొనియున్నాను సముదాయించుకొని యున్నాను చనుపాలు విడిచిన పిల్ల తన తల్లియొద్దనున్నట్లు చనుపాలు విడిచిన పిల్లయున్నట్లు నా ప్రాణము నాయొద్ద నున్నది.
ఇశ్రాయేలూ, ఇదిమొదలుకొని నిత్యము యెహోవా మీదనే ఆశపెట్టుకొనుము. (:1-3)

Simple Trust in the Lord (Notes from Psalm 131)

Godly practices:
Lord, my heart is not haughty,
Nor my eyes lofty.
Neither do I concern myself with great matters,
Nor with things too profound for me.
Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,
Like a weaned child with his mother;
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
O Israel, hope in the Lord

దేవుని గూర్చిన వర్ణన:
యెహోవా, నీవు దోషములను కనిపెట్టి చూచినయెడల ప్రభువా, ఎవడు నిలువగలడు?
అయినను జనులు నీయందు భయభక్తులు నిలుపునట్లు నీయొద్ద క్షమాపణ దొరుకును. (:3,4)
  ఇశ్రాయేలూ, యెహోవామీద ఆశపెట్టుకొనుము యెహోవాయొద్ద కృప దొరుకును. ఆయనయొద్ద సంపూర్ణ విమోచన దొరుకును.
ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దోషములన్నిటినుండి ఆయన వారిని విమోచించును.  (:7,8)

యెహోవాకొరకు నేను కనిపెట్టుకొనుచున్నాను నా ప్రాణము ఆయనకొరకు కనిపెట్టుకొనుచున్నది ఆయన మాటమీద నేను ఆశపెట్టుకొనియున్నాను.
కావలివారు ఉదయముకొరకు కనిపెట్టుటకంటె ఎక్కు వగా నా ప్రాణము ప్రభువుకొరకు కనిపెట్టుచున్నది కావలివారు ఉదయముకొరకు కనిపెట్టుటకంటె ఎక్కు వగా నా ప్రాణము కనిపెట్టుచున్నది.  (:5,6)

Waiting for the Redemption of the Lord (Notes from Psalm 130)

Prayer:
Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord;
Lord, hear my voice!
Let Your ears be attentive
To the voice of my supplications. (:1,2)

Description of God:
If You, Lord, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?
But there is forgiveness with You,
That You may be feared. (:3,4)
O Israel, hope in the Lord;
For with the Lord there is mercy,
And with Him is abundant redemption.
And He shall redeem Israel
From all his iniquities. (:7,8)

దేవుని గూర్చిన వర్ణన:
యెహోవా న్యాయవంతుడు (:4)

దేవుని కార్యములు:
 నా యౌవనకాలము మొదలుకొని నాకు అధిక బాధలు కలుగజేయుచు వచ్చిరి. అయినను వారు నన్ను జయింపలేకపోయిరి.
దున్నువారు నా వీపుమీద దున్నిరి వారు చాళ్లను పొడుగుగా చేసిరి.
యెహోవా న్యాయవంతుడు భక్తిహీనులు కట్టిన త్రాళ్లు ఆయన తెంపియున్నాడు. (:2-4)

సీయోను పగవారికి కలుగు పరిస్థితి:
వారు ఇంటిమీద పెరుగు గడ్డివలె నుందురు గాక ఎదుగక మునుపే అది వాడిపోవును
కోయువాడు తన గుప్పిలినైనను పనలు కట్టువాడు తన ఒడినైనను దానితో నింపు కొనడు.
దారిన పోవువారుయెహోవా ఆశీర్వాదము నీమీద నుండునుగాక యెహోవా నామమున మేము మిమ్ము దీవించు చున్నాము అని అనకయుందురు. (:6-8)

Song of Victory over Zion’s Enemies (Notes from 129)

Description of God:
The Lord is righteous  (:4)

Deeds of God:
“Many a time they have afflicted me from my youth;
 Yet they have not prevailed against me.
 The plowers plowed on my back;
They made their furrows long.”
The Lord is righteous;
He has cut in pieces the cords of the wicked. (:2-4)

Fate of haters of Zion:
Let all those who hate Zion be put to shame and turned back.
Let them be as the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up, with which the reaper does not fill his hand, nor he who binds sheaves, his arms.
 Neither let those who pass by them say,
“The blessing of the Lord be upon you;
We bless you in the name of the Lord!” (:8)

The enemies of God's people have very barbarously endeavoured to wear out the saints of the Most High. But the church has been always graciously delivered. Christ has built His church upon a rock. And the Lord has many ways of disabling wicked men from doing the mischief they design against His church. The Lord is righteous in not suffering Israel to be ruined; He has promised to preserve a people to himself.

యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులుగలవాడు ఈలాగు ఆశీర్వదింపబడును (కీర్తనలు 128)

ఆశీర్వాదములు:
యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగి ఆయన త్రోవలయందు నడుచువారందరు ధన్యులు.
నిశ్చయముగా నీవు నీ చేతుల కష్టార్జితము ననుభవించెదవు
నీవు ధన్యుడవు నీకు మేలు కలుగును.
నీ లోగిట నీ భార్య ఫలించు ద్రాక్షావల్లివలె నుండును
నీ భోజనపు బల్లచుట్టు నీ పిల్లలు ఒలీవ మొక్కలవలె నుందురు.
యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులుగలవాడు ఈలాగు ఆశీర్వదింపబడును.
సీయోనులోనుండి యెహోవా నిన్ను ఆశీర్వదించును నీ జీవితకాలమంతయు యెరూషలేమునకు క్షేమము కలుగుట చూచెదవు
నీ పిల్లల పిల్లలను నీవు చూచెదవు.
ఇశ్రాయేలుమీద సమాధానముండును గాక. (:1-6)

Blessings of Those Who Fear the Lord (Notes from Psalm 128)

Blessings:
Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways.
When you eat the labor of your hands,
You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.
Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine
In the very heart of your house, your children like olive plants
all around your table.
Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.
The Lord bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
Yes, may you see your children’s children.
Peace be upon Israel! (:1-6)

కట్టించి, కాపాడి, అనుగ్రహించు దేవుడు (కీర్తనలు 126)

దేవుని కార్యములు:
యెహోవా ఇల్లు కట్టించనియెడల దాని కట్టువారి ప్రయాసము వ్యర్థమే. యెహోవా పట్టణమును కాపాడనియెడల దాని కావలికాయువారు మేలుకొని యుండుటవ్యర్థమే.
 మీరువేకువనే లేచి చాలరాత్రియైన తరువాత పండు కొనుచు కష్టార్జితమైన ఆహారము తినుచునుండుట వ్యర్థమే.
తన ప్రియులు నిద్రించుచుండగా ఆయన వారి కిచ్చు చున్నాడు.
కుమారులు యెహోవా అనుగ్రహించు స్వాస్థ్యము గర్భఫలము ఆయన యిచ్చు బహుమానమే  (:1-3)


దేవుని ఆశీర్వదములు:
యౌవనకాలమందు పుట్టిన కుమారులు బలవంతుని చేతిలోని బాణములవంటివారు.
వారితో తన అంబులపొది నింపుకొనినవాడు ధన్యుడు
అట్టివారు సిగ్గుపడక గుమ్మములో తమ విరోధులతో వాదించుదురు. (:4)

Laboring and Prospering with the Lord (Notes from Psalm 127)

Deeds of God:

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it;

Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows;

For so He gives His beloved sleep. (:1,2)

Blessings of God:

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord,

The fruit of the womb is a reward.

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.

Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;

They shall not be ashamed,

But shall speak with their enemies in the gate. (:3-5)

యెహోవా మనకొరకు గొప్పకార్యములు చేసి యున్నాడు (కీర్తనలు 126)

దేవుని కార్యములు:
 సీయోనుకు తిరిగి వచ్చినవారిని యెహోవా చెరలో నుండి రప్పించినప్పుడు
మనము కలకనినవారివలె నుంటిమి మన నోటి నిండ నవ్వుండెను మన నాలుక ఆనందగానముతో నిండియుండెను. అప్పుడుయెహోవా వీరికొరకు గొప్పకార్యములు చేసెనని అన్యజనులు చెప్పుకొనిరి.

యెహోవా మనకొరకు గొప్పకార్యములు చేసి యున్నాడు మనము సంతోషభరితులమైతిమి. (:1-3)

ప్రార్థన:

దక్షిణదేశములో ప్రవాహములు పారునట్లుగా యెహోవా, చెరపట్టబడిన మా వారిని రప్పించుము. (:4)

ఆత్మీయ అభ్యాసములు:

కన్నీళ్లు విడుచుచు విత్తువారు సంతోషగానముతో పంట కోసెదరు. 

పడికెడు విత్తనములు చేత పట్టుకొని యేడ్చుచుపోవు విత్తువాడు సంతోషగానము చేయుచు పనలు మోసికొనివచ్చును. (:5,6)

The Lord has done great things for us (Notes from Psalm 126)

Deeds of God:
When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing.
Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad. (:1-3)

Prayer:
Bring back our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South.(:4)

Godly practices:
Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.
 He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. (:5,6)

యెహోవాయందు నమ్మికయుంచువారు కదలక నిత్యము నిలుచు సీయోను కొండవలెనుందురు (కీర్తనలు 125)

దేవుని కార్యములు:
యెరూషలేముచుట్టు పర్వతములున్నట్లు యెహోవా ఇది మొదలుకొని నిత్యము తన ప్రజల చుట్టు ఉండును.(:2)
తమ వంకరత్రోవలకు తొలగిపోవువారిని పాపముచేయువారితో కూడ యెహోవాకొనిపోవును (:5)

నీతిమంతులకు కలుగు ఆశీర్వదములు:
యెహోవాయందు నమ్మికయుంచువారు కదలక నిత్యము నిలుచు సీయోను కొండవలెనుందురు. (:1)
నీతిమంతులు పాపము చేయుటకు తమ చేతులు చాప కుండునట్లు భక్తిహీనుల రాజదండము నీతిమంతుల స్వాస్థ్యము మీద నుండదు. (:3)

ప్రార్థన:
 యెహోవా, మంచివారికి మేలు చేయుము యథార్థహృదయులకు మేలు చేయుము.
ఇశ్రాయేలుమీద సమాధానముండును గాక. (:4,5)

Deeds of God:
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. (:2)
 As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity. (:5)


Blessings to the righteous:
Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.(:1)
... the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity. (:3)

Prayer:
4 Do good, O Lord, to those who are good,
And to those who are upright in their hearts. (:4)
Peace be upon Israel! (:5)

పక్షి తప్పించుకొనినట్లు మన ప్రాణము వేటకాండ్ర ఉరినుండి తప్పించుకొని యున్నది ఉరి తెంపబడెను మనము తప్పించుకొని యున్నాము.

భూమ్యాకాశములను సృజించిన యెహోవా నామము వలననే మనకు సహాయము కలుగుచున్నది. (:6-8)


యెహోవా మనకు తోడైయుండనియెడల:
మనుష్యులు మనమీదికి లేచినప్పుడు యెహోవా మనకు తోడైయుండనియెడల
వారి ఆగ్రహము మనపైని రగులుకొనినప్పుడు
యెహోవా మనకు తోడైయుండనియెడల వారు మనలను ప్రాణముతోనే మింగివేసియుందురు
జలములు మనలను ముంచివేసి యుండును ప్రవాహము మన ప్రాణములమీదుగా పొర్లిపారి యుండును
ప్రవాహములై ఘోషించు జలములు మన ప్రాణములమీదుగా పొర్లి పారియుండును (:2-5)

The Lord the Defense of His People (Notes from Psalm 124)

Description of God:
Maker of heaven and earth.(:8)

Deeds of God:
The Lord is on our side (:1,2)
Blessed be the Lord, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth.
Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers;
The snare is broken, and we have escaped.
Our help is in the name of the Lord,  Who made heaven and earth.(:6-8)


 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side:
“If it had not been the Lord who was on our side,
When men rose up against us,
Then they would have swallowed us alive,
When their wrath was kindled against us;
Then the waters would have overwhelmed us,
The stream would have gone over our soul;
Then the swollen waters
Would have gone over our soul.” (:2-5)

కీర్తనాకారుని అనుభవము:

యెహోవా, మేము అధిక తిరస్కారము పాలైతిమి అహంకారుల నిందయు గర్విష్ఠుల తిరస్కారమును మామీదికి అధికముగా వచ్చియున్నవి. (:3)

ఆత్మీయ అభ్యాసములు:

దాసుల కన్నులు తమ యజమానుని చేతితట్టును దాసి కన్నులు తన యజమానురాలి చేతితట్టును చూచు నట్లు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా మనలను కరుణించువరకు మన కన్నులు ఆయనతట్టు చూచుచున్నవి. (:2)

Our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He has mercy on us. (Notes from Psalm 123)

Description of God:
You... dwell in the heavens.(:1)

Prayer:
Unto You I lift up my eyes, (:1)
Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us! (:3)

Experience of the psalmist:
For we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorn of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud. (:3,4)

Godly practices:
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters,
As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,
So our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He has mercy on us. (:2)

యెహోవా మందిరమునకు వెళ్లుదమని జనులు నాతో అనినప్పుడు నేను సంతోషించితిని.
యెరూషలేమా, మా పాదములు నీ గుమ్మములలో నిలుచుచున్నవి (:1,2)
యెరూషలేముయొక్క క్షేమముకొరకు ప్రార్థన చేయుడి
యెరూషలేమా, నిన్ను ప్రేమించువారు వర్ధిల్లుదురు. (:6)
మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా మందిరము నిమిత్తము నీకు మేలుచేయ ప్రయత్నించెదను. (:9)

ఆశీర్వాదములు:
యెరూషలేమా, నిన్ను ప్రేమించువారు వర్ధిల్లుదురు.
నీ ప్రాకారములలో నెమ్మది కలుగును గాక. నీ నగరులలో క్షేమముండును గాక.
నా సహోదరుల నిమిత్తమును నా సహవాసుల నిమిత్తమును నీకు క్షేమము కలుగును గాక అని నేనందును. (:6-8)

The Joy of Going to the House of the Lord (Notes from Psalm 122)

Godly practices:
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem! (:1,2)
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.." (:6)
Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good.(:9)

Blessings:
“May they prosper who love you.
Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.”
For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” (:6-8)

యెహోవా, అబద్ధమాడు పెదవులనుండియు మోసకరమైన నాలుకనుండియు నా ప్రాణమును విడిపించుము. (:2)

మోసకరమైన నాలుక:

మోసకరమైన నాలుకా, ఆయన నీకేమి చేయును? ఇంతకంటె అధికముగా నీకేమి చేయును? 

తంగేడునిప్పులతో కూడిన బాణములను బలాఢ్యుల వాడిగల బాణములను నీమీద వేయును (:3,4)

అయ్యో, నేను మెషెకులో పరదేశినై యున్నాను. కేదారు గుడారములయొద్ద కాపురమున్నాను. 

కలహప్రియునియొద్ద నేను చిరకాలము నివసించినవాడను. 

నేను కోరునది సమాధానమే అయినను మాట నా నోట వచ్చినతోడనే వారు యుద్ధమునకు సిద్ధమగుదురు. (:5-7)

Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart trembles at your word.

Description of God:
Great are Your tender mercies, O Lord;(:156)
 The entirety of Your word is truth,

Prayer:
Consider my affliction and deliver me,

             నేను నా దేవుని ఆజ్ఞలను అనుసరించెదను దుష్‌క్రియలు చేయువారలారా, నాయొద్దనుండి తొలగుడి. (:113-115)
             నీ శాసనములు నాకు ఇష్టమైయున్నవి (:119)
             నీ భయమువలన నా శరీరము వణకుచున్నది నీ న్యాయవిధులకు నేను భయపడుచున్నాను. (:120)


ప్రార్థన:
       

               నేను బ్రదుకునట్లు నీ మాటచొప్పున నన్ను ఆదు కొనుము నా ఆశ భంగమై నేను సిగ్గునొందక యుందును గాక. 

              నాకు రక్షణకలుగునట్లు నీవు నన్ను ఉద్ధరింపుము అప్పుడు నీ కట్టడలను నిత్యము లక్ష్యము చేసెదను. (:116,117)

       నన్ను పట్టుకొనుటకై భక్తిహీనులు ఉరియొడ్డిరి అయినను నీ ఉపదేశములనుండి నేను తొలగి తిరుగుట లేదు.
      నీ శాసనములు నాకు హృదయానందకరములు అవి నాకు నిత్యస్వాస్థ్యమని భావించుచున్నాను.
      నీ కట్టడలను గైకొనుటకు నా హృదయమును నేను లోపరచుకొనియున్నాను ఇది తుదవరకు నిలుచు నిత్యనిర్ణయము. (:109-112)

Teach me your laws (Notes from Psalms 119:105-112)

The Word of God:
     Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. (:105)

Prayer:
     I have suffered much; preserve my life, Lord, according to your word.
    Accept, Lord, the willing praise of my mouth,
    and teach me your laws. (:107-108)

         I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.(:106)

దేవునివాక్యమువలన కలుగు ఆశీర్వాదములు:
          నీ ఆజ్ఞలు నిత్యము నాకు తోడుగా నున్నవి. నా శత్రువులను మించిన జ్ఞానము అవి నాకు కలుగ జేయుచున్నవి.
       నా బోధకులందరికంటె నాకు విశేషజ్ఞానము కలదు.  (:98,99)
       వృద్ధులకంటె నాకు విశేషజ్ఞానము కలదు. (:100)
       నీ వాక్యములు నా జిహ్వకు ఎంతో మధురములు అవి నా నోటికి తేనెకంటె తీపిగా నున్నవి.
       నీ ఉపదేశమువలన నాకు వివేకము కలిగెను తప్పుమార్గములన్నియు నా కసహ్యములాయెను. (:103,104)

ఆత్మీయ అభ్యాసములు:

           నీ ధర్మశాస్త్రము నాకెంతో ప్రియముగానున్నది దినమెల్ల నేను దానిని ధ్యానించుచున్నాను (:97)

           నీ శాసనములను నేను ధ్యానించుచున్నాను (:99)

           నీ ఉపదేశములను నేను లక్ష్యము చేయుచున్నాను

       నేను నీ వాక్యము ననుసరించునట్లు దుష్టమార్గములన్నిటిలోనుండి నా పాదములు తొల గించుకొనుచున్నాను 

          నీవు నాకు బోధించితివి గనుక నీ న్యాయవిధులనుండి నేను తొలగకయున్నాను. (:100-102)

Sweeter than honey (Notes from Psalm 119: 97-104)

Blessings from God's Word:
       You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; for they are ever with me.
       I have more understanding than all my teachers, (:98, 99)
       I understand more than the ancients, (:100)
       How sweet are Your words to my taste,
       Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
     Through Your precepts I get understanding;
     Therefore I hate every false way. (:103,104)


Godly practices:
    Oh, how I love Your law!
    It is my meditation all the day. (:97)
    Your testimonies are my meditation. (:99)
    I keep Your precepts.
    I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Your word.
    I have not departed from Your judgments, for You Yourself have taught me. (:100-102)

నేను నీవాడనే నన్ను రక్షించుము (కీర్తనలు 119:89-96 నుండి ధ్యానము)

దేవుని వాక్యము:
           యెహోవా, నీ వాక్యము ఆకాశమందు నిత్యము నిలకడగా నున్నది. (:89)
           సకల సంపూర్ణతకు పరిమితి కలదని నేను గ్రహించి యున్నాను నీ ధర్మోపదేశము అపరిమితమైనది. (:96)

దేవునిగూర్చిన వర్ణన మరియు ఆయన కార్యములు:
                        నీ విశ్వాస్యత తరతరములుండును. నీవు భూమిని స్థాపించితివి అది స్థిరముగానున్నది
                       సమస్తము నీకు సేవచేయుచున్నవి కావున నీ నిర్ణయముచొప్పున అవి నేటికిని స్థిరపడి యున్నవి (:90,91)

ఆత్మీయ అభ్యాసములు:
             నీ ధర్మశాస్త్రము నాకు సంతోషమియ్యనియెడల నా శ్రమయందు నేను నశించియుందును.

           నీ ఉపదేశమువలన నీవు నన్ను బ్రదికించితివి నేనెన్నడును వాటిని మరువను. 

           నీ ఉపదేశములను నేను వెదకుచున్నాను 

           నన్ను సంహరింపవలెనని భక్తిహీనులు నా కొరకు పొంచియున్నారు అయితే నేను నీ శాసనములను తలపోయుచున్నాను. (:92,-95)

ప్రార్థన:

The Word of God:
    Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. (:89)
    I have seen the consummation of all perfection, but Your commandment is exceedingly broad.(:96)

Description and deeds of God:
      Your faithfulness endures to all generations;
      You established the earth, and it abides.
      They continue this day according to Your ordinances, For all are Your servants. (:90,91)

Godly practices:
       Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction.
       I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life.
       ... I have sought Your precepts.
      The wicked wait for me to destroy me, but I will consider Your testimonies. (92-95)
